Books

  1. Supercommunicators: How to Unlock the Secret Language of Connection by Charles Duhigg

Before reading this, I really disliked books about communication because they often felt manipulative. They suggested techniques like using someone’s name to appear caring, nodding, or smiling, which seemed very insincere. However, Supercommunicators focuses on creating connections through genuine interest and care.

  2. Quit: The Power of Knowing When to Walk Away by Annie Duke

This book quickly became my favorite self-help read of 2024. It challenges the traditional image: quitting equals failure. Instead, it highlights the importance of recognizing when it’s time to move on—an essential skill that can be adopted to any aspect of life, whether it’s a job, a relationship, or even a poker game.
